Overall winner? Seven words…LONGEST UNDAMMED RIVER IN THE UNITED STATES. 692 miles with a lake in its path. Easy decision. Although the winner is worthy, I am not particularly happy with the Quake and Hebgen match outcome. Hebgen has a lot of spruce moths too….just sayin’.

Of course my vote is Quake Lake. It so has it’s own personality. It doesn’t even matter if you catch fish because being on the lake is so spooky and cool. I would love Quake even if I had not had a day where the fish were making me laugh because they wanted to be hooked so badly. I love playing tag there with the trout. (Sometimes I even get to row the boat.)

Great seeing Josh enjoying himself. We had one of if not the best vacations fishing with you guys ever. The hardest part about finding “The Ranch” is having to wait until next September to come back. Wish you all the the very best winter and Holidays.
