Women’s Week at Firehole Ranch
August 2 – 6, 2008
Twenty lucky women in 2008 will have the opportunity to experience Women’s Week at the Firehole Ranch. All abilities are welcome to this fun filled event. The Madison, Henry’s Fork of the Snake, Yellowstone and many other fabled rivers and lakes will be the setting for clinics, classes and guide trips focused on encouraging women to become more proficient anglers. I will be leading and organizing Women’s Week at the Firehole Ranch; joined in instruction by our knowledgeable and experienced guide staff. This is sure to be a fantastic time at the Ranch.
The Firehole Ranch has a long history of combining world-class fly fishing, five star accommodations and gourmet cuisine. This setting is a fantastic place to explore and to gain the basics of fly fishing, or to improve on the techniques you already possess. Women of all abilities, including beginners, are encouraged to attend this week of fantastic fishing and spectacular camaraderie. The greater Yellowstone area provides a unique atmosphere for a variety of clinics including beginning fly casting, improved nymphing techniques, and the dynamics of drift boat fishing. We will spend time on the Ranch and exploring all this unique area has to offer. Instruction and fishing opportunities will be arranged to the desires of all participants. All instruction and guided fishing will have our 2:1 instructor ratio. Relaxed western hospitality, an unforgettable outside barbeque, and one evening spent enjoying the conversation of a notable woman angler, Patty Reilly, will complete a wonderful week.
